Brandy Cinnamon Apple Sauce
- 8 apples, peeled, cored, chopped
- 1 cup acorn squash
- 1 tablespoon coconut sugar, unrefined
- 1 tablespoon brandy
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1. In a saucepan, combine apples, orange juice, sugar, brandy and cinnamon. Cover, and cook over medium heat for 25 to 30 minutes, or until apples are soft. Add 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice. Allow to cool. Place mixture in a blender to puree, refrigerate and serve chilled.
Great for digestion, 1-2 apples a day will relax even the worst case of constipation and firm up diarrhea!
