Health Benefits

Pork is high in protein and low in fat, and has more of the B vitamins than many other types of meat. The garlic in this dish gives the immune system fantastic support and when combined with coconut oil and thyme you have a trifecta of antimicrobial, antibacterial and anti viral properties. The ancient romans used to use thyme as a remedy for melancholy and in medieval times considered a plant that imparted vigor and courage, reason enough for me to keep it on hand for regular use!
