Health Benefits

Don’t be fooled by the name of these melons because despite their high water content, they are also full of nutrients! Did you know that watermelon contains about one and a half times more lycopene than tomatoes? Surprising, right? Lycopene is the reddish carotenoid pigment that has anti-inflammatory, detoxification and blood sugar balancing capabilities. Watermelon not only has a significant amount of antioxidants, but also amino acids, vitamin A, B6 and vitamin C.
