Louisville is a city which prides itself on its authentic feel and local spots, here are three exceptional examples.
Monnik Beer Co. is a brewery which prides itself on its Belgian style beer and food. What this means is that on top of an interesting menu, the food and drinks tend to pair together well. Now for a more classic American feel, there’s no rival to Against the Grain Brewery and Public House. This spot was created to represent the more grounded dive bar and community-centered feel of breweries. It only makes sense then that the burgers here are highly acclaimed. Burger Week is a big event at this brewery with a selection of incredibly cheap burgers. Overall it makes sure to remind each patron of the value of a simple beer and burger.
Finally the Atrium Brewery is the last highlighted spot which offers an amazing range of food and beer. It’s a bit unfair to call this a burger and beer spot when its range of food is so diverse. The brewery pairs with local food trucks to offer burgers, tacos, fish and chips, and wings daily. These paired with the sours and IPA’s make it the perfect spot for a beer alongside a meal.
