Health Benefits

Rich in minerals, spinach can provide 54% of your daily iron, 34% of your daily calcium, 67% of your daily magnesium, 54% of your daily potassium, and a whopping 152% of your daily manganese! These minerals work together to maintain alkaline balance in the body. The typical American diet is off the charts with acidity. This leaves us with no energy and are more prone to obesity as well as a host of other problems. For women, the mineral content also relaxes muscles and reduces menstrual cramping. Three cheers for sautéed spinach!
